Mata-ni-Pachhedi
Product Details

Mata-ni-Pachhedi is an art form from the state of Gujarat.

It literally translates to ‘Behind the Goddess’
These beautiful highly intricate paintings are used as mobile shrines by some tribes in Gujarat.
Through the year many variations and forms of these Goddesses are worshipped and hence a large Mata-ni-Pachhedi is a composition of multiple elements.
During this 15 days long workshop (spanned over 2 months) we will learn to draw each and every Goddess forms which includes more than 20 Goddesses, their animals (Vaahans), bhakta-ganas, floral designs, backdrops, sun-moon, mermaids, architectural elements (chhatris, mandirs) etc

This is a unique workshop in which I encourage each student to come up with their own unique Mata-ni-Pachhedi design. At the end of this seriously precious knowledge exchange you will be well-equipped with enough skills and design elements in your kitty to create as many Pachhedis as you can fancy!!!

This workshop does not require me to send you any supplies so anyone can attempt it from any part of the world.
